Center for Sales Excellence

Beacon’s model for a Center for Sales Excellence (“CSE”) has emerged as a cornerstone of sales operations for many clients.  The CSE has primarily two components.  The first is an online “right of entry” series of learning tools and assessments.  These online tools help ensure that face-to-face training participants have a baseline of knowledge that will allow them to maximize the benefit of any live training.  It also helps instill the importance of continuous learning and support via online applications so that the culture becomes one of continuous improvement.

Second, for Beacon’s larger global clients, the CSE is a highly cost effective model for developing large opportunity coaches and support teams.  These staff members are trained to work effectively across large deals as well as how to apply that ability to specific sectors in unique ways.  The objective is to help increase the probability of winning work in manner that is highly supportive of their clients.

In addition, some clients use this model to accelerate the skills transfer to internal instructors so that the learning can be initiated in their smaller regions in a most cost-effective basis.
